Jordan and Israel

The Lands of the Bible May, 2015 Sponsored by The Center for Global Ministries Visit the places you read about in the Bible. Study the Scriptures with us as we travel starting in ancient Amman through Jordan
down to the Red Sea and then into Israel finishing in Galilee. Stand on Mount Nebo where Moses looked into the Promised Land. Visit Bethany beyond the Jordan where John was baptizing. Attend church in Madaba and
see the mosaic floor map that has changed the face of archeology in Israel. Visit Machaerus fortress where Salome danced and John the
Baptist was beheaded.

Visit a full size replica of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness and hear how we can see Christ and His work in it. Swim in the Dead Sea and climb
Masada where Jewish rebels held out against an overwhelming Roman army. Visit Bethlehem and gain a new understanding of the story of Ruth and the
birth of Christ there. Of course, Jerusalem. The Holy City. The city on a
hill. Stand on the Mount of Olives. Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was taken prisoner. Retell the story of the cripple at the Pool of Bethesda and more. Join us in the Lord’s Supper at a tomb likely to have been the one from which he arose.

Tour by the Sea of Galilee, Korazin, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Nazareth, Cana ‐‐ and more. Work in the ministry with the Center supported home groups and pastor in Galilee. You will never be able to read the Bible again without having a greater understanding of the places, culture, and spiritual meaning of the Word of God. The tour is led by Steve Thompson who has been in Israel 48 times and taken hundreds
of people on tours and mission work there.
